IF - Old-fashioned

This is just my personal interpretation but I found split-skirts old-fashioned already when they were fashionable... However, I also didn't like asparagus and I just love them now!
When I change my mind, if it ever happens, I promise to post a picture of me in this outfit.

Póster Manos Unidas

Here is my proposal of a poster for Manos Unidas (may 2010)
The motto was: "Their Tomorrow is Today". I have lots of doubts but, especially, about the typo of "Su mañana" and the background color of the upper part (which is not white because someone advice me otherwise... although I still would prefer it white).

La observación del mar en calma me ha transmitido siempre tranquilidad y fe en el futuro. Por ello, he querido incluirlo en la imagen tratando de “dibujarlo” con toda su riqueza y fuerza a través de una serie de imágenes diversas del mismo, una serie de diferentes momentos y expresiones del mar.

La idea del mañana se dibuja en nuestro pensamiento, en el aire, todavía sin concreción. Nuestro presente, en cambio, es el suelo que pisamos. Los zapatos en que nos hallamos.

El desarrollo plano del océano entre la línea del horizonte (expresión del futuro) y la línea del romper de las olas (presente más inmediato), y la eliminación con ello de la perspectiva, pretenden acercar presente y futuro para subrayar la acuciante necesidad de emprender acciones de ayuda de forma inmediata, porque su mañana -el mañana de estos niños (y el de todos)- es hoy.

my new self

Suddenly, I realized that my profile picture is a kind of old... I mean, I look a kind of young... too young. I would like to show a different face, closer to the real one. Although, when I look at the drawing, I do not recognize myself. However, considering that looking at the picture I copied from, I also do not recognize myself... I guess I must have done something right, right? That would be me today:

IF-Acrobat

She is just five. She got her first roller just yesterday and I already have to run in order to follow her. To me, she is the little acrobat of the day...

Paul Claudel said: "Our only duty is to be happy" (quite inspiring...), so here my little illustration, which also tries to contain a sentence from Miguel de Unamuno: "Jamás desesperes, aun estando en las más sombrías aflicciones, pues de las nubes más negras cae agua limpia y fecundante".
Something like: "Never despair, even in the darkest affliction, as from black clouds falls clean and fertile water".
